|Just a quick heads up – not sure if you heard… things did not go well at the Cap U Senate committee meeting this evening (last night)
- They had to vote on recommendations from the Senate Budget Advisory Committee which after 3 weeks of analysis/meetings etc. concluded and recommended that the University move forward with the proposed program cuts.
- The Senate Committee voted in favor to support the Budget Advisory Committee’s recommendations which will be forwarded to the Board of Governors.
- The Board of Governors meets tomorrow at CAPU, Library, Room 322 at 6pm. The public can attend.
This is the final vote. If you are in the lower mainland please go & let your voice be heard. To read about the student’s plan to mount a silent protest go here.
