One of our wonderfully talented jewellery artists, Joanna Lovett, is featured in an article from Creators Vancouver. She talks about her unique designs in Vancouver, Hollywood films featuring her pieces, and advice to artisans looking to establish themselves.
She talks about lockets, and the wonderful significance behind each piece of jewellery. They can hold secret notes, or be a personal way to remember someone close to you. Lovett hand crafts each individual piece uniquely in her studio.

Lovett’s other passion is rings. Her popular stacking rings are both comfortable and stylish. She makes her jewellery using a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. Lovett uses an investment casting process in her studio – “Basically it’s the same way the ancient Egyptians made their adornment, plus some fancy equipment!”
You can see Joanna Lovett’s work in both Crafthouse, 1386 Cartwright Street and at Celebrate – The Vancouver Summer Market, July 21 – 24, Jack Poole Plaza.
