Region: The Islands
I was born in Belleville Ontario in 1948 and moved to Vancouver with my family in 1961. I attended the Vancouver School of Art (now Emily Carr University of Art and Design) where I studied painting with Takao Tanabe and Don Jarvis, design with Fred Peter and printmaking with Reg Holmes. My paintings, serigraphs and photographs can be found in the collections of the Vancouver Art Gallery, the National Gallery, Canada Council Art Bank and the City of Vancouver. I am now focused on ceramic sculpture as my preferred medium of expression. I am a member of the Claytek Studio in Vancouver and have my own ceramic studio in Qualicum Beach.
