about
Charmian has been potting for nearly 40 years and teaching classes for about 20. Over this time her love and passion for all things clay has never waned and she’s as excited today by making pots as she was all those years ago. There is always something new to learn, no matter how long you’ve been at it and at this point in my life, she still feel as though she is just scratching the surface. She has been accused of being all over the place with her work but could never be happy just doing one design, one line of work. After much thought on the subject, she feels she’d rather be happy than fit into one specific design hole so she continues to explore, expand and keep herself interested by trying whatever she feels like. She also works in lamp-worked glass, is an avid knitter, loves to sew, cook and have recently started drawing again. Her other great love is photography and never leaves home without her camera. Below are some links to her photographic social media sites.
