Kaarina received her craft training at Capilano University in North Vancouver and also holds a Geology degree from the University of Toronto. Her pieces are characterised by a strong degree of precision and exactness – perhaps evidence of a previous programming career in computer mapping. She plays an active role in the craft community, having been on the Board of the Circle Craft Co-op for several years, including three years as Chair. |
