| Rachelle Chinnery is a ceramic artist living on Hornby Island. Her academic interests lie in the phenomenology of craft and the way ecological identity can be cultivated through craft practice. She is currently working on an exhibition entitled: Poem, Petal, Bone, a collection of photographs, ceramic sculpture, mixed-media sculpture, and poetry. This body of work grew from research into perception, ecopoetics, and introspective writing for her MA in Integrated Studies. |

| My studio practice is a blend of ceramics, mixed media, and exploring the nature of craft. I’ve made my home on Hornby Island where I have been able to research the meeting place between craft, ecology, and the human condition. |
