about

Stuart and Christine live and work in scenic Atlin, located in the remote Northwest corner of British Columbia. Their work is created in an inspiring environment of mountains, glaciers and Atlin Lake. Their work is created in an inspiring environment of mountains, glaciers and Atlin Lake. Their sculpted boxes are each unique, original pieces, and can be found in galleries and fine gift shops in BC, Yukon and Alaska. A variety of materials are used including placer gold and hardwoods such as diamond willow or poplar burl. Pieces are inlaid with gold, green Malachite, light-blue Turquoise and dark blue Azurite. Pieces are finished to a sort lustre using Danish Oil and buffing wax. To care for your piece, carefully wipe to remove dust, then buff with a soft cloth, to return it to the original lustre.
