about

Originally from Tehran, Iran, Fereshteh’s textile artistry was shaped early on by her mother, a skilled tailor who instilled a deep respect for traditional weaving. After studying Fashion Design at Tehran University, Fereshteh began blending Persian carpet patterns and intricate tiling motifs into her work, creating collections that bridge traditional Iranian textiles with modern fashion.

artist statement

Using antique, handwoven fabrics sourced from Iran and beyond, my crafts reversible garments that offer two distinct styles. Each piece is dyed with natural pigments, creating a breathable fabric that’s gentle on sensitive skin and requires minimal maintenance. My meticulous process involves splitting and restitching the fabrics, enhanced with beaded embroidery for a modern twist. These pieces can be hand or machine washed, offering both practicality and versatility.
