artist statement
My work investigates the intimate spaces where vulnerability and resilience intersect. Working primarily with precious metals, I explore jewellery as a vessel for internal narratives.
Movement is a defining element of my practice. Many of my pieces incorporate inner chambers or door-like elements such as keyholes, keys, peepholes, and similar motifs, suggesting the presence of mystery, safe spaces, or truths waiting to be unlocked or secured. These components create a dialogue between what is visible and what remains concealed, while also awakening the viewer’s curiosity and imaginative interpretation.
My aesthetic is also defined by contrast and duality; I often work with dark patina and bright silver to highlight this interplay. My pieces invites the viewer to consider their own internal landscapes. I aim to create jewellery that extends beyond adornment, establishing a contemplative space where inner narratives can be acknowledged, protected, and profoundly felt.
