Lydia Buxton is a Canadian jewellery designer and metalsmith based in the West Kootenays, British Columbia. She is the founder of the studio line Lydi of the Valley Jewellery, where she creates handcrafted, limited-edition collections that blend traditional goldsmithing techniques with natural materials and sculptural forms.

“My designs are a response to the contours and colors of my inspiration. I seek to capture visual fragments of memory through various means of metal, color and form. I challenge myself, hoping to kindle the same internal connection with the wearer. I delight in the essence of this work, of all these hand-tasks propelled by effort into lively, wearable objects.”
