Michelle Sirois Silver specializes in hand hooked and surface design artwork. Drawn to the tactile qualities of fibre and its potential, her work visually layers structural design elements, which utilize pattern and repetition and the imperfections created when unexpected materials are introduced into the surface. These handcrafted works draw inspiration from a foundation fostered in her childhood where working with her hands and problem solving were the expectation.

Ms. Sirois Silver teaches and exhibits in North America and works from her studio in Victoria on Vancouver Island.
