Arbutus wood also known as Madrone wood is a stunning hardwood with a wide variety of grain colouring and textures. Made from forest fall-downs and dead arbutus trees, these salad sets and servers as well as wood knives show the beauty of the wood in functional pieces. Great for home use, they also make wonderful gifts of something unique to the BC west coast.

| I make arbutus wood food servers, spatulas, party knives, spreaders, letter openers and butter knives in 6 sizes. The wood is salvaged from forest fall-downs and dead branches. These pieces are the special selection from my work and receive extra sandings and fine finishing, including many coats of food safe tung oil to seal the wood and protect followed by waxing by Orange Wax (beewax, carnauba wax and orange oil) from Lee Valley. |
