Zohra Bonnis is an International ceramiste whose creations celebrate a fusion of cultural traditions and contemporary design. Born in Morocco and raised in France since age 2, she lives between Paris and Vancouver BC, Canada, Zohra’s artistic journey reflects her global experiences and deep respect for the art of ceramics. She has studied under mentors, including Robert Shiozaki in Vancouver, Dominique Le Gros in France, Moondobang in Korea, Master Lee Hyangkoo in Echeon, Korea, where she earned a certification, Master Hyangiong Oh in Jeju Island Korea and Trained in Morocco with in the Potters Village Ain Bouchrik Morocco to traditional Women art of coiling passed form generation of mothers to their daughters. Zohra’s work draws inspiration from her diverse training in France, Japan, and Korea, skillfully blending traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. Her vessels embody a narrative of cultural exchange and personal storytelling, serving as timeless artifacts of her journey. With a career that spans curatorial expertise and ceramic artistry, Zohra continues to push the boundaries of her craft, creating pieces that resonate with audiences worldwide.
