The Urban Sketching in Jalisco Residency is a two-week immersive program for artists who enjoy observational drawing and urban sketching. Set in the picturesque Lake Chapala region, the residency offers participants the opportunity to explore local architecture, landscapes, and vibrant communities while developing their artistic practice.

The program includes accommodations, airport transfers, daily breakfast, guided sketching sessions, cultural excursions, studio visits, and artist meetups. Participants will also experience local celebrations, including Mexico’s Independence Day and the Festival de Globos, while connecting with fellow artists in an inspiring creative environment.
