For the form, I knew I wanted to continue working with the motif of the patchwork quilt. I have been drawn to this culturally rich object recently as a fantastic vessel for speaking about what it is to be a human.
All the Ways We Are Connected centres on the ‘threads’ of storytelling and connection we share, explored through the media of ceramics and light.

This project continues Tracy Susheski’s dedication to crochet Guido Molinari’s paintings. As his student at Concordia she employed his manifesto “painting should neither represent nor deal with the object, but on the contrary, should attempt to become an object itself” thus solidifying her defense of crocheting in a painting class.
BC has the highest rate of biodiversity in Canada, and hand in hand with that, has the most endangered species.
