The Emerging Artists in Contemporary Craft Award is given to a graduating student selected by participating institutions with material arts programs.  The award includes:

• A complimentary one-year professional membership in CCBC
• A group exhibition opportunity in the CCBC Gallery
• Promotion of the student and their work in CCBC’s newsletter, press materials and website.

As with this year’s show, the student award winners will experience the step-by-step process involved in a professional exhibition at a BC Arts Council supported gallery. With so few opportunities for emerging craftspeople to exhibit their work, we feel that this is an excellent career opportunity for new student graduates.

This year we feature emerging artists from LaSalle College, Langara College and Vancouver Community College.
